Yannick Hanfmann believes He can be a source of troubles for Rafael Nadal in 2nd Round

Rafael Nadal won 88 matches in his career in Roland Garros and lost only twice

to Robin Soderling in 2019 and to Novak Djokovic in 2015, to be considered as a phenomenal record

in a grand Slam tournament besides winning it 11th time as historical record.

The German came from qualifications and feeling confident in his meeting with the 17 Slams winner

Although the chances is not high but the German believes He can make some damage for Rafa

“I have been playing well. I’ve got a big game, I’ve won all six sets I’ve played (in qualifying),

I’m definitely feeling comfortable here,” Hanfmann said

“So if my serve and return works, I can definitely do some damage.

“I won’t go into the match thinking I’ve no chance because that would be stupid. I’ll have a match plan ready.

“I’ll know a lot about him – and maybe he doesn’t know as much about me.” He added

“It is a privilege but I can’t afford to make the match too big in my mind. If I do, I won’t be able to play really well.

“It won’t be easy – but I’ll try to keep it laid-back.”

The match is not that easy especially to meet a legend on Clay who broke all possible records on clay.
