Toni Nadal reveals that Wimbledon showed lack of Respect to Nadal, by taking him to the 3rd seed
Early this week, a problem begin when Roger Federer won his 10th title in Halle
and that gave him the chance to be seeded N 2 in Wimbledon according to it’s ranking
system for the result of last 12 month on Grass season.
Firstly, Rafael Nadal expressed his opinion about Wimbledon and they disrespect him
for making him the 3rd seeded as long as He’s the world Number 2 in the world.
“If everyone did it, I think it would be appropriate or correct. Either way, being second
or third seed, I have to play at the best level to aspire to the things I aspire to.“
“It is better to be second than third, but if they consider that I have to be third, I will accept,” Rafa said
due to this issue many players talked about this including Novak Djkovic and John McEnroe

Besides them, Toni the Uncle had his words saying Wimbledon showed lack of Respect to Nadal
The Uncle was interviewed by El Larguero, as He attacked Wimbledon saying
they feel like they’re special and has unique style than other Grand Slam tournaments.
“It’s a well-known topic, the Wimbledon guys are used to differentiating themselves
because of this kind of thing, it’s a bit ugly, but it’s what they’ve always done,”
“They’re used to going their own way and they act like that because they feel special
and maybe they think they have the right to do things as they want. It’s a bad beginning.”
“It’s true that it is a very important Slam but it would be more logical if the seedings
were based on what is based around the world, on the measures that govern the ATP Tour.”
“I think it’s a lack of respect but to the ATP circuit. They [Wimbledon] act at their own discretion”
” if everyone did the same thing it’d be a complete disaster, but I think they feel very special, and unique,” Toni added
Seems like Toni Nadal is not happy at all for what his nephew ranking, because
He’ll have to face one of Federer or Djokovic in the S-Finals to take the 3rd title in Wimbledon.
Above all, Wimbledon is the only who can edit or change their rules and players must accept these rules. it was actually in place for a very long time, every player can express his opinion but in the end, it’s Wimbledon rules and traditions.
