Roger Federer reveals He had a tough test in his match against Roberto Bautista Agut
Roger Federer played two tough matches in last two rounds against Tsonga and Agut
After winning the first set with 6-3 Federer faced a different player in the 2nd set
and rest of the match, Roberto just switched his game to a big level and played
many awesome points and great rallies from the baseline, which made the job harder.
The Spaniard is already a rallies player and could find his rythme on the grass
and was playing one of the best matches, but in the last and important game
He made 4 Unforced errors which costed him the match.
Federer admitted the match was very tough and they both had chances to win,
and He’s happy with his level although winning in 3 sets and the tough competition
“It was very tough especially in the middle [of the match],”
“I got off to a flier, played great in the first set. I broke in the first game and I broke
in the last game so in between was tough. I think the result doesn’t lie. We both
had chances, especially in the third set. He had one bad game at the end that cost him dearly.”
“But from my side, I’m very happy with my level. It was another great match. I already
played well against Tsonga. And it took Bautista Agut to play a really good game. “
“I thought he was rock solid for a very long time and it was difficult today.” Roger said
Roger Federer always praise his opponents in both cases win or lose, and that’s a great champion behavior.
