During his interview with Swiss TV station SRF, The 20 Grand Slam winner
revealed about his current situation with the injury,

“I was unhappy with my knee long before South Africa so after the Match for Africa,”

“I just felt like I had to do something now. Then the second time I was forced to do it,”

“I’ve only played once since South Africa, I hope that I’ll still know to play when I return.

“I’m now looking at a 20-week training block. It is a long way. But I’m ready for it,” Roger said.

Severin Luthi gives update about Roger Federer second knee injury.

Roger Federer coach Luthi told SRF that He’s doing well and would be 100 % for the come-back.

“Roger is doing well. Rehabilitation has gone according to plan after the second surgery,”

“No big intensity until know, he will start a physical fitness block with Pierre Paganini shortly.”

“The first priority is that Roger gets 100 per cent healthy again.

“The nice thing is that with Roger you still get the feeling you‘re on the court with a junior”

“and not with a player who‘s rather at the end of his career, those are perfect conditions we’re focused on next season,” Luthi said.
