Rafael Nadal jokes Roger Federer ahead of Match for Africa

Rafael Nadal will face Roger Federer in a charity match in Cape Town.

The match for Africa in South Africa was planned a year ago, the match will expect a

record-breaking of most attendance with 50,000 fans in a match.

Roger Federer already arrived safely in South Africa.

Rafael Nadal joked that He wants to use Roger Federer as a tour guide for him in South Africa.

“Roger and I have shared so many magical moments on and off the court,”

“Travelling with him to Cape Town and playing for the benefit of children is something I am very excited about.

“It will be my first time in the region with Roger as a tour guide – that will be fun.” Rafael Nadal said.

Moreover, Roger Federer expressed that the injury will not be something to worry about during the charity match

“To be honest, I hope I’m somewhat fine for South Africa. That’s something I think I can somewhat control,”

“But then, of course, you want to be 100% to be able to train again, then get ready for hopefully Dubai.”

“Right now it’s only guessing. I’m very happy that I don’t feel any worse than when I started. That’s for me super encouraging.”

“Yeah, so I think we’ll go from there and we’ll see if I need to do another scan or not,” Roger Federer said.
