Rafael Nadal reveals happiness after winning the first round of the Australian Open 2021

The World number 2 Rafael Nadal advanced to the second round of the Australian Open 2021 after defeating Laslo Djere in straight sets with a score of 6-3 6-4 6-1.

After the match Rafael Nadal went straight to the press conference to answer the Journalists questions,

and here is what Rafael Nadal said:

“I needed to survive today and that’s what I did. Just tried to be focused all the time, tried to get through,”

“For me personally, (I’m) happy to be through to the second round. I did I think a good job today. Straight sets, that’s what I did.”
