Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are not playing the US Open 2020
It’s the first time that the US Open is taking place without Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal,
The Swiss man is out for the rest of season due to his knee surgery.
But the Spaniard man decided not to play in the US Open due to Covid-19 pandemic.
For that, many players expressed how it feels to play a tournament with Nadal and Federer.
Milos Raonic told the media that it’s not nice not to have the FeDaL in a playing tournament.

in the rest of the interview Raonic expressed how the FeDaL are important in Tennis not just for fans but for players as well.
“I do not think it really does have an effect. but It’s unfortunate they’re not here. I think it’s always great for tennis when they’re around,”
“Yeah each one of us as players is really just focused on who’s the next person We have in the future rounds,”
“but, it’s weird at a Grand Slam not having them, but there’s many tournaments throughout the year that we play without the two of them there”
“I think it’s not a big of a deal, because it’s not the first time in a major that these two are not playing.

Moreover, Rafael Nadal reveals why Roger Federer is still playing so far.
The 19 grand slam winner told GQ magazine that Federer has unlimited passion for Tennis and that what keeps him playing.
