Rafael Nadal thanks Novak Djokovic ahead of Paris Bercy

Last week Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic played an exhibition match in Kazakhstan,

the match was nominated for Rafa Nadal Foundation and the two players participated in it.

for that, Rafael Nadal thanked Djokovic for accepting the invitation and participate with him.

“I played a charity exhibition in Kazakhstan for my foundation with Novak,”

“He came there to play for my foundation. So that was I can’t thank him enough. So have been great feelings.” Nadal said

The Spaniard admitted that He had only one day-off after his wedding He came back to Tennis courts again,

“But obviously after the wedding, I have the Sunday off. And then Monday, Tuesday, practice.“

“Wednesday, flying to Kazakhstan; and Thursday late night here,” Nadal said.

Moreover, Nadal revealed that it’s not bad luck which is happening to him in Paris Bercy,

He already won 12 titles in Roland Garros but no titles yet in the master.

“That’s the real thing. I get injured a lot of times, it’s true. I miss this tournament a lot of times in my career.”

“And other times I didn’t play well and other times opponents have been better than me,” Rafa added.

In the other side, Rafael Nadal admitted that the surface is a bit quicker than before,

“I am happy to be here. and yes for me it’s the most important city in my tennis career,”

“So I love to be in Paris. Always gives me good vibes.”

“And I think I’m doing the right steps to try to be ready for the action on hopefully Wednesday. Let’s see.” Nadal added.

Paris is the city that Rafael Nadal got important moments in, and He appreciates that and loves it.
