Rafael Nadal is back in action to prepare for the 2020 Season

After the win in Davis Cup, Rafael Nadal took a break from the preparation and practice,

but according to Marca, Rafa Nadal is finally back to Mallorca‎ and begin his preparation and training.

The Spaniard trained with Jaume Munar and Casper Ruud at the academy.

Rafael Nadal will fly next week to Abu Dhabi to participate in The Mubadal which starts on 19th December,

He will make a potential clash with Novak Djokovic who is participating as well in the final.

The world number 1 will face the winner of the match between Medvedev and Chung on 20 December.

Nadal will play the winner of Daniil Medvedev and Hyeon Chung on December 20 and then either a third-place playoff or final on December 21.

After the Mubadala, Rafael Nadal will be back in his country to get ready for the new event of the ATP Cup,

which takes place in Perth on the 3rd of January, Nadal will be alongside with Roberto Bautista Agut and Pablo Carreno Busta.

Talking about the 2020 season, David Ferrer mentioned that it’s important for him [Rafa Nadal ] to win as many slams as possible.

“It is a target for him. He wants to do something like Roger. It is a very good target for him to still keep going.

“It is more difficult but at this moment he is the No 1 in the world. So he is in a good place.“

“Tsitsipas, Thiem, Medvedev are very good players but Rafa for me is the favourite to finish next year as world No 1. He can do it.“
